Fashion Regal respects photographers, illustrators, designers, artists, brands, publications, and other visual creators whose work makes fashion and styling content more useful and engaging.

We understand that an image can represent hours of creative work, professional experience, and personal expression. Fashion Regal aims to treat that work responsibly and to give appropriate credit whenever credit is required or reasonably available.

If you are a creator or rights holder and have a question about an image appearing on Fashion Regal, we would much rather hear from you directly and work out a simple solution.

How Fashion Regal Approaches Image Use

Fashion Regal makes a good-faith effort to use images in a manner we believe is permitted by applicable copyright principles, including the fair use doctrine where applicable, or because an image is available in the public domain or is being used under an appropriate license.

Fashion Regal does not intend to infringe the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of photographers, artists, brands, publications, or other rights holders. When an image belongs to someone else, we recognize that ownership and licensing rights remain with the appropriate creator or rights holder.

Because Fashion Regal covers fashion, accessories, styling ideas, trends, products, and related subjects, some articles may naturally refer to or display visual material associated with brands, products, designers, or editorial coverage. Such material is used in an informational, commentary, review, reporting, or styling context where appropriate.

When an Image May Not Show Complete Attribution

Fashion Regal publishes and updates visual content across a growing collection of articles. Occasionally, an image may appear without complete attribution because of an oversight, a broken source link, incomplete information supplied with the image, or because an image has circulated online through multiple sources before reaching us.

That does not mean we intend to claim someone else’s work as our own. If you believe an image should have been credited differently, please let us know. Fashion Regal will review the matter and correct the attribution, update the source information, modify the presentation, or remove the image when appropriate.

Our goal is to resolve these situations respectfully rather than leave a creator searching for the right person to contact.

How We Source and Use Visual Content

Fashion Regal uses a mixture of original, licensed, publicly available, Creative Commons, editorial, and contributor-provided imagery depending on the subject of an article. Since the site covers several areas within fashion, accessories, and styling, the type of imagery can vary from one post to another.

Creative Commons and Openly Licensed Images

Some visual content may come from platforms and collections that make images available under Creative Commons or similar licenses. Examples may include Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay, Burst, and Flickr Commons, depending on the image and its stated license.

Different licenses have different requirements. Where a license requires attribution, Fashion Regal makes a reasonable effort to provide the creator’s name, source, and other required information. Where a license permits use without attribution, we may use the image according to the applicable license terms.

We do not assume that every image found on a public website is automatically free to use. The stated license or usage terms matter.

Original Photography

Fashion Regal may publish photographs taken specifically for the website by the site owner, contributors, or authorised collaborators. When Fashion Regal or an authorised contributor owns the rights to an original photograph, that image may be used in articles, website pages, social content, or other Fashion Regal materials.

Original photography may include outfit details, accessories, styling examples, fashion-related scenes, product arrangements, or other visuals created specifically for a Fashion Regal article.

Public Domain Material

Some images may be obtained from public-domain collections where the copyright has expired, the work was dedicated to the public domain, or the applicable source identifies the material as public domain.

Possible institutional sources include Wikimedia Commons, the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Open Access, and comparable archives or collections. Before using public-domain material, Fashion Regal makes a reasonable effort to review the information provided by the source.

Where a public-domain collection recommends, or requests source acknowledgement, Fashion Regal may provide that information even when copyright law does not require attribution.

Paid Stock Photography

Fashion Regal may also use photographs or graphics obtained through paid commercial licensing services. Depending on the article and licensing needs, these may include platforms such as Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Depositphotos, iStock, Getty Images, or Canva Pro.

Licensed material is used according to the applicable license or subscription terms. Fashion Regal does not claim ownership of stock images simply because they appear in an article. The relevant creator or stock provider retains the rights provided under its licensing arrangement.

Brand, Editorial, and Press Images

Fashion and styling coverage sometimes involves products, designers, collections, brands, public figures, campaigns, or events. In those situations, Fashion Regal may display brand, editorial, or press imagery as part of an article involving commentary, criticism, reporting, review, education, or discussion.

Where applicable, such use may rely on fair use principles or another lawful basis for editorial use. Fashion Regal does not intend for the presence of a product or brand image to suggest that Fashion Regal owns that image or that the brand has endorsed Fashion Regal.

When attribution is required or reasonably available, we aim to identify the original brand, photographer, publication, or source.

Images From Readers, Contributors, or Collaborators

Fashion Regal may occasionally receive images from readers, contributors, photographers, stylists, designers, or other collaborators for publication.

When someone voluntarily submits an image for use, Fashion Regal expects the person submitting it to have the necessary permission or rights to provide it for publication. Where appropriate, we may identify the contributor or creator alongside the image.

If you submitted an image to Fashion Regal and later have a question about its use, please contact us so we can review the circumstances.

How We Handle Image Credits

When attribution is required by a license or is appropriate for editorial use, Fashion Regal aims to provide credit to the original creator or rights holder. Where possible, we also provide a link to the original source, creator profile, portfolio, publication, or relevant page.

If you notice that a credit is missing, incorrect, outdated, or linked to the wrong source, please tell us. Fashion Regal will review the information and update the attribution promptly when a correction is appropriate.

We appreciate creators who take the time to point out attribution issues. It helps us keep the site’s visual content more transparent.
